WaterWorks™ Extended Range pH (2-12pH) (NCW-481104)

This unique strip was designed with 2 test pads on the same strip in order to allow more accurate and extended results. The dual-indicator system makes colour matching easier and more reliable since both colours are different from each other. This test strip is simple and requires no other reagents or accessories. We use trace amounts of chemicals on our strips which makes them extremely safe and non-hazardous. They are considered as Articles under OSHA and do not require SDS sheets.

What Is pH?

The pH of water is a measure of how acidic or alkaline it is. The pH is measured using a scale from 1 – 14, where pH 1 is very acidic, and pH 14 is very alkaline. The acidity of the water is a measure of the number of hydrogen ions present.

The pH of the water will affect the chemistry of the water and how it reacts with chemicals and surroundings, so in most applications maintaining a stable pH is essential.
